Talisman is a legendary band on the Euro scene and this live CD explains why. Jeff Scott Soto is one of the most amazing singers on the planet and even if you do not own one of his CDs you probably own something that he has sang own due to his extensive work as a background singer.

This double live Cd features Soto solo stuff along with classic Talisman material that was recorded over the span of the last 15 years. Soto and bassist Marcel Jacob are a song writing force and have created the blueprint for what is the Euro melodic scene today. The first CD was recorded at Club Mondo in August 2003 and features an amazing set that stunned the all that were there.

The second CD is a shorter set with some of the same songs but always different as their tight band delivers well. Howie Simon, Soto’s guitar player for JSS, shines with his amazing skills a great rhythm player and even more so with playing amazing leads that rip your neck off.

All in all this is a great set and well worth it for the JSS diehards and for the connoisseur of melodic rock.
