At the very beginning of the 90's, Marcel Jacob played in a cover band called Horny Strings.

The other members were Talisman drummer Jake Samuel, singer Thomas Vikström (ex-Talisman, Canldemass, Talk Of The Town) and guitarist Tommy Denander. |
Vikström and Denander had played on a 4 track Talisman demo called "Midnight Blue", and Horny Strings evolved from there. The band was quite famous in Sweden.
