| I received this CD from Sweden, and it's overdue for a review! | |||
Why I waited to do this had a LOT to do with deadlines and space, but here it is, the project that features former Yngwie Malmsteen bassist Marcel Jacob and also from Malmsteen vocalist Jeff Scott Soto. |

While this is not hard 'n' heavy, it is very well done, and the record is fantastic in my opinion! The vocals are nice and melodic, the guitar riffs and solos are intricate and incredibly varied, and most of the songs are catchy and very likeable on first, second, heck even through repeated listenings! |

It kinda reminds me of some of our local bands that were popular in the early to late 80's, like Genesis and Journey, and even some of our lighter metal bands. Some of the best cuts are "Coming Home," "I'll Set Your House on Fire", (which by the way features a funky, groovy set of riffs coupled with the hard rock anthem tradition) and "All or Nothing". |

The lyrics are standard love/rock fare, but as I said before, some of the lyrics and especially the chorus section are especially catchy. Even though this is an import, if you're a fan of Malmsteen's work, you don't want to miss such excellent guitar work! |
